The amount payable as compensation by the Insurer to the beneficiary if the covered risk occurs within the duration of his insurance cover.

Notification to the Insurer, requesting payment of an amount due under the terms of the policy at a reported occurred event with the insured person.

Committed seizure of the Debit Card, Purchased Good, Daily Item, or Device from the locked Premises, resulted in factual loss of possession of the Debit Card, Purchased Good, Daily Item, or Device of the side of the Policyholder / Insured Person:

• after removal by force of the security protections by the perpetrator or opening the entrance to the Premises using tools or counterfeit or fitted keys or the original keys, in which possession the perpetrator came as a result of breaking into another premises or aggression of the Policyholder/Insured Person, or
• by the perpetrator who hid in the premises before their closing, if he left traces that could serve as evidence of his secret hide.

Symptoms of a disease or a disease defined in the GTCs.

Caused by the movement of:

• mechanized land vehicles (cars, lorries, buses, trams, trolleybuses and trains authorized for use, except two wheelers and special vehicles) or,
• ships or ferries (seagoing or inland ships and ferries carrying out regular services, sightseeing trips or transportation) or,
• aircraft (aeroplanes or helicopters belonging to carriers that are members of the International Air Transport Association, performing air transport services).

Termination of the employment contract as a result of which the insured person obtained the status of an unemployed person with the right to unemployment allowance, provided that the Insured had been employed under the employment contract for at least 3 months directly preceding the termination of the employment contract.

• For those Borrowers who have no established right to a retirement under the provisions of Polish law on retirements and pensions – means Permanent Total Disability to Work.
• For those Borrowers who have established right to a retirement under the provisions of Polish law on retirements and pensions at the moment of concluding Insurance Agreement or who acquire this rights during the Insurance Period – means Significant Degree of Disability, which is a disability level that is applied to Insured Person with impaired body dexterity as a result of sickness or accident, who is incapable of accepting employment or capable of accepting employment only in a sheltered place of employment and requiring – in order to allow it to exercise social roles – permanent or long-lasting nursing and assistance of another persons, connected with incapability to carry out independent existence. The Significant Degree of Disability status shall be set according to the decision issued by competent authority, defined in the GTC.

The state where an insured person is permanently unable to carry out any occupation at all, or any work that could earn him/her any remuneration as a result of sickness or accident that occurred during the insured person’s individual insurance period and which means he/she is obliged to call upon the assistance of a third party to be able to carry on the normal acts of life. The status is set according to the decision issued by the medical expert of the Polish Social Security Agency (ZUS) or another authorized authority, in accordance with the regulations regulating social security benefits.

Seizure of the Debit Card, cash withdrawn from ATM, Purchased Good, Daily Item, or Device that resulted in factual loss of possession of the Debit Card, cash withdrawn from ATM, Purchased Good, Daily Item, or Device of the side of the Policyholder/Insured Person, using physical violence against the Policyholder/Insured Person or the threat of immediate use of physical violence against the Policyholder/Insured Person or bringing the Policyholder/Insured Person to a state of unconsciousness or vulnerability.

Temporary total loss or diminished ability of the insured person to perform his/her registered occupation or the activity carried out by him/her under a civil-law agreement, such disability being a direct result of an accident or sickness which occurs during the insured person’s individual insurance period and last for at least 60 days, provided that it is confirmed by a medical certificate.

The act of unlawful seizure of the Debit Card, Purchased Good, Daily Item, or Device in order of misappropriation resulted in factual loss of possession of the Debit Card, Purchased Good, Daily Item, or Device of the side of the Policyholder/Insured Person.

A transaction, made with the stolen Debit Card as a result of Theft, Burglary or Robbery, made by a person different than the Policyholder/Insured Person without his/her permission, and which debits the Current Account and results in a change of balance on the Current Account.

Use of the Mobile Phone (lost by Policyholder/Insured Person as a result of Burglary or Robbery) without the permission of the Policyholder/Insured Person, which occurred until the moment that SIM/USIM card was blocked, but not later than within 48 hours following the occurrence of Burglary or Robbery of the Mobile Phone.
