„Will family afford to pay credits off, if in the budget one salary is missing?“

This problem refers to majority of Polish families. We live from salary to salary trying to cover all monthly expenses with the household budget. It means that every diminution of our budget may cause serious financial problems.

Poles expenses

Based on GUS and KRD data the expenses make over 80% of Polish families incomes, so for the consumption or savings it is less than 20%. Analyzing the list of Poles’ regular monthly expenses it can be noticed that almost 50% of the expenses are for credit repayment. It is not a rare situation for even 45% of Poles repay different credit installments. In another words, almost every second family in Poland has a credit.

Lack of one salary

Average household budget of the family (two salaries) is 4.000 PLN. All the expenses are covered with the budget. What will happen in case of unexpected loss of job, illness or death? There will be lack of one salary, but expenses will be the same. Financial situation of the family will significantly will be worsened and troubles with paying the bills will start, especially with credit repayments. So can we really afford the „comfort“ of no insurance protection covering loan repayment? We should take care of financial security of the family by insuring credit repayment.

Insurance in practice

When one salary is missing, repaying the loan installments is often very problematic. In case of life insurance, we help families to keep financial stability by paying off debt, which exceeds several times the average family budget. In the event of job loss, Poles are looking for new jobs on average over 12 months (GUS data). However, our customers have up to 18 months to find a new job.
